Marvin Design Gallery in Lake Bluff, a family-owned division of Evanston Lumber Co., is looking to add an inside support representative to our team. The key objective of this role is to support our sales professionals and assist our customers.
Your Role
This role is perfect for a career-minded individual looking to work in a professional environment and has an interest in construction or building materials. The Inside Support Professional works directly and closely with our outside sales team to meet the needs of our customers.
A Day in the Life
While the day-to-day of our Inside Support Professional varies, a sample of potential projects and tasks is available below:
- Assisting in the creation of quotes and estimates of windows, doors and other building materials
- Quoting and placing special orders for the outside sales team
- Placing and coordinating orders with customers
Your Skills and Qualities
- Are an excellent active listener
- Have basic computer skills
- Strong math skills
- Committed to accuracy and timeliness
- Are a go-getter with strength in prioritization
- Have a construction background or building materials sales experience, OR are excited to learn about the two
- Self-motivated to perform and able to meet deadlines
