Our newly redesigned Lake Bluff Showroom is the envy of the industry, allowing us to showcase and provide top-quality windows (primarily Marvin) and doors. Our showroom consistently draws walk-in customers, providing qualified leads, and is a unique sales tool only our sales professionals have at their disposal.
We are one of the few window sales organizations to have a team of service techs to make any necessary repairs or replace parts, and who can be scheduled to be on site in days, rather than having your customer wait months for the manufacturer to send their teams, proving another incentive for your customers to buy from Estates.
We also have a team of some of the best inside support professionals around, eager to keep your projects moving forward.
Job Description
The successful candidates for the outside sales openings will join our growing sales team and be responsible for generating new business while expanding relationships with our current client base.
The process will consist of:
- - Prospecting for new business accounts by establishing rapport with decision makers
- - Having a thorough understanding of windows, doors, and other building materials in order to anticipate your -clients’ needs.
- - Generating and providing estimates for windows, doors, and trim
- - Quoting and placing special orders for customers
- - Scheduling/tracking deliveries and constantly communicating with clients
Our close association with Evanston Lumber provides another opportunity for our sales team to supply their customers with what they need. If you are comfortable focusing on windows and doors, great, that’s what we’re currently hiring for…but if you want to be able to sell windows, doors, trim, framing lumber, engineered lumber, even whole-house packages, even better!
By matching our current customers up with our team of outside sales reps, there is a tremendous value to the client in that there’s always someone tending to their account who will work hard to build upon these relationships.
Our ideal candidate has these qualities:
- - Effective communication skills
- - Ability to prioritize and manage their time efficiently
- - Loves the challenge, learns quickly, and will make a difference
- - Window sales experience and/or Construction experience essential
Compensation & Benefits
Tremendous earning opportunity with a base salary plus tiered commission, car allowance, cell phone allowance, expense reimbursement program, Full Benefits Package including PPO Health Insurance, PPO Dental, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and a 401(k) plan with generous company match.
Starting Salary (base plus commission): $80,000.00 to $160,000 /year
